Our biggest release yet — a new way to sign in, fully customizable creator profiles, interactive walkthroughs, and the groundwork for a new chain.
Base Chain Support (Coming Soon)
We're adding Base, an Ethereum L2, as a tipping chain alongside Polkadot, Solana, and WAX. When it goes live, you'll be able to send and receive tips in USDC on Base with fully sponsored gas fees — you'll only pay the tip amount, nothing extra. This is powered by Coinbase's paymaster infrastructure.
Base tips will follow the same escrow flow as every other chain. Recipients will be able to claim to their wallet or to Sacred Balance with zero fees, just like today.
Alongside Base tipping, we're also rolling out wallet-based sign-in using Sign-In With Ethereum (SIWE). You'll be able to sign in to Sacred with a Base wallet — no email or password needed. Works with regular wallets and smart wallets (Coinbase, Safe, etc.).
We'll announce when Base is enabled — stay tuned.
Sign In with a Passkey
Sacred now supports passkey authentication — sign in with Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware security key instead of a password.
To set up a passkey: Head to Settings, find the new Passkeys section, and click "Add a passkey." Your browser will prompt you to register using your device's biometric. You can add up to 10 passkeys for redundancy across devices.
To sign in: Click "Sign in with a passkey" on the login page. Your device handles the rest — no typing required.
Passkeys are synced across devices if your platform supports it (iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager). You can rename or remove passkeys from Settings at any time. If passkeys are your only sign-in method, you won't be able to remove your last one.
Creator Profile Pages
Your Sacred profile is now fully customizable. Visit your profile and click "Edit profile" to set:
- Bio — a short description (160 characters) that appears on your profile
- Featured content — pin a video, tweet, or stream link to the top of your page
- Preferred chain — set a default blockchain so tippers don't have to guess
- Quick-select amounts — customize the preset tip amounts visitors see (up to 6)
- Preferred tipping identity — choose which connected account appears when you send tips
Your profile also displays your XP level ring with real-time progress, connected platforms, and stats showing tips sent and received. Visitors can tip you directly from the page.
Guided Tours
We've added six interactive walkthroughs that guide you through Sacred's features step by step. Each tour highlights relevant UI elements with a spotlight and explains what they do.
- Dashboard overview — tabs, quick claim, alerts, connected accounts, tipping identity
- Tip form — chain/token picker, amount entry, presets, message field
- Alerts setup — Sacred Overlay for OBS, third-party integrations, off-stream notifications
- Overlay editor — URL setup, active theme, customization shortcuts, test alerts
- Tip destination — withdraw vs. claim tabs, wallet addresses, Sacred Balance benefits
- Claim wallet — setting up your withdraw address
Tours automatically skip steps if the relevant UI isn't visible, and they won't show a degraded single-step tour if most steps are missing. You can exit anytime by pressing Escape or clicking outside the spotlight.
Sacred Balance Limits by Token
We've added per-token balance limits to Sacred Balance. Each token now has its own maximum holding amount — for example, 2 DOT, 20 USDC, 100 MYTH. If a claim would push you over the limit, you'll see a clear message showing your current balance, the incoming amount, and the cap.
Users who are already over a limit can still send and withdraw normally — the limit only applies to new incoming claims.
